Chicago beauties were given a real Girls Night courtesy of Flirty Girl Fitness and Pretty City. Since we are all about the “pretty” , we braved our sunburn pain, put on our sundresses and crossed town to the Randolph street location of Flirty Girl Fitness. When we arrived, our hostesses greeted us with a flirtini and one of those great Pretty City goody bags. Ladies had already started to mingle and network, so it was great to meet some new people and visit with some old friends.
I was impressed with the whole Flirty Girl idea. It is hard enough to exercise, let alone do it every day. Flirty Girl presented me with a challenge, the “30″ Day Challenge. If I would attend one class for thirty days, they would reward me with a few goodies. A lot of the women I overhead said that there was no way they could do it and they were busy enough. I think this is a great way to motivate women to make a positive change in their life. At this time, I am not able to take the challenge. Maybe I will be in the future.
One of the best parts of the evening was the pampering, Michael Anthony made each girl feel like a star with either a makeover, manicure, or massage. After bearing the heat, a little glam makes a girl feel good. Jen had her nails done and I indulged in some makeover magic. Loved the hot pink lipstick that my make up artist used. There were plenty of goodies to buy as well. Everything from the jewels of Bedazzled and April Star to the beautiful designs of my good friend, Viktoria of Viktoria’s Closet.
Fashion was also part of the event as the crowd got to view some makeover magic. Four lucky girls, got makeovers with Christina Karin designs and Michael Anthony beauty artists working on them. It was amazing to see the girls before the transformation and then the glam girls that stood before us. As we socialized and viewed the fashions, we were treated to yummies from Vapianos and Austrian Bakery in Lincoln Park. The treats didn’t end there, Pam from Swirlz provided her sinfully delicious cupcakes and there was also a candy buffet. The charity for the evening’s event was Bridge to Success and each guest was urged to bring a piece of business attire. It was a great way to spend a summer evening.
It was a sea of hot pink as Pretty City girls passed out goody bags to all the guests.
Candy ! candy ! everywhere ! Guests could indulge their sweet tooth with purple and yellow candies.
Vapiano’s provided yummy apetizers like this bruschetta trio
These lucky ladies got treated to a makeover and love these Christina Karan creations.
Don’t they look sinful? Here is Pam , a proud member of WIN and owner of Swirlz the best cupcakes around.
