Jules meets the handsome rich Sam (played by Matthew Perry) when she crashes into her car trying to retrieve her wedding ring that has fallen off. Her insurance has lapsed so to avoid having to pay for damages to his expensive car she agrees to have coffee with him. He agrees to forget the whole thing and Jules agrees to a date. Sam falls head over heels for Jules and gets the aid of dancers and a marching band to ask her to be his wife unaware that she is already married.
Jules actually accepts! She decides to let him down easy at their engagement party at Grayson’s bar! The fun comes when Grayson declares he’s always been in love with Jules and drops down on one knee proposing right in front of Sam. He is hurt but it doesn’t last long when Laurie;s look alike walks by.
It was hilarious and fun to see Matthew and Courteney together again and I cracked up in the end credits when he calls her Monica! I also want to tip my hat to Brain Van Holt who did a great job directing this episode filled with laughs and old friends!
